COPPER & KINGS DISTILLERY
The history of brandy in America is deep and diverse. With the first recorded spirits distillation in America being brandy in 1640, in many ways brandy can be considered to be America’s original spirit.
The Brotherhood was treated to a special evening at Copper & Kings. We toured the distillery and the barrels aging to rock music in the basement. Then gathered in the second floor event space where Copper & Kings Master Distiller Brandon O’Daniel joined Kelly Ramsey of Art Eatables Chocolates to take us through a special pairing of three Copper & Kings brandies with three different artisanal chocolates. We enjoyed additional cocktails along with a generous cheese and fruit display. And of course we had awesome door prizes as always.
Afterward many of us adjourned to Alex&nder’s bar on the top floor for yet more cocktails and to enjoy the picturesque view of downtown. Lastly, we were all able to bottle our own brandy, directly from the barrel of our choice!
