BOURBON HISTORIAN MICHAEL VEACH
Nobody knows more about the history of bourbon than Michael Veach. Mr. Veach has written and contributed to five books on the subject, is the former Bourbon Historian of the Filson Historical Society and has been inducted into the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame.
We had a bar specially stocked for us with a variety of bourbons we selected, including Angels Envy, Basil Hayden, Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Evan Williams, Four Roses, Jim Beam, Knob Creek, Maker’s Mark and Woodford.
Mike shared his fascinating tales of bourbon history while we snacked on ham asparagus rolls, Jim Beam meatballs and vegetable egg rolls. And of course we had awesome door prizes as always.
