UPCOMING EVENTS

The Bourbon Brotherhood is now in our 9th year of hosting monthly events.  The focus is on learning about bourbon and we welcome both aficionados and novices alike.  Let’s have some fun and enjoy the camaraderie!

Bardstown Distillery Tour

Luxury Motor Coach Departing from Louisville

The tour includes four stops:

1. Barton 1792 Distillery,  2. Old Talbott Tavern (lunch),  3. Old Steelhouse Distillery,  4. Heaven Hill Distillery

The price of admission includes a full-day of fun, tastings at the distilleries, new friends and an experience you’ll always remember.

Broken Barrel Whiskey

Thursday, June 9, 5:30 – 7:30

at Westport Whiskey & Wine, Louisville

The flavors imparted from contact with oak are what create the whiskeys we love and enjoy. The team at Broken Barrel destroys a variety of used barrels, using axes, sledgehammers, and other tools, then puts the wood into Kentucky bourbon for a special finishing process. The results are surprising.

Seth Benhaim, the Founder CEO of Broken Barrel Bourbon, is coming to Kentucky and we’ll be doing a tasting with him at Westport Whiskey & Wine.

More info coming soon.

Log Still Distillery

Wednesday, June 22, 5:30 – 7:30

at Pegasus Headquarters, Louisville

Wally Dant comes from a long line of bourbon makers. He and his team at Log Still Distillery are doing amazing things, not only in terms of whiskey, but also for bourbon tourism.

Their new distillery features a 2,000-seat outdoor amphitheater, lodging options (the Homestead Bed & Breakfast, the Poplar Cottage, The Mansion), The Legacy wedding and events venue, wooded walking trails, a fully functional train depot, farm-to-table restaurant, and a 12-acre lake for fishing.

Our event will be held at the Pegasus headquarters on Poplar Level Road in Louisville.
